| We were blessed to have a week in Cortona staying at Il Serena and Serenella in July of 2008. Traveling with my husband and 3 children plus good friends and God-Parents to my children, our week in Cortona had one thing wrong...a week in this paradise was way too short! It was by far my favorite stop in Italy. The views were from a painting, and the people of Cortona were gracious, friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to have the pool to ourselves and enjoyed our conversations with the grounds-keeper, however limited our Italian was! Our children, ages 7-12 loved the villa and the convenience of having a kitchen. I will definitely return (not soon enough) to these wonderful homes and pretend for even a short while that I live in this remarkable place

Location, views
Please provide extra towels and sheets. It would have been nice to be able to have a washer and dryer. At least the washing machine. I don't know how you could do it if it wasn't summertime!
